Barre is a fun, full-body workout class done to upbeat music and combines elements of Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga. You will improve your cardio, strength, and flexibility in a low-impact, high-intensity manner through controlled movement, always focusing on alignment and posture. Most exercises will be done standing at the "barre" (or back of a chair) using your own body weight for resistance. At times, small props will be incorporated such as small weights and Therabands to increase resistance and intensity. This is your chance to achieve that strong, long, and lean body that dancers are so well-known for!
